The Offkilter Contoured Neck Plate is designed specifically to be compatible with Warmoth “modern construction” necks. The offset screw is placed in just the right spot to avoid the truss rod side adjustment mechanism in their necks. With that said, this neck plate is also compatible with any other Fender style neck with a more traditional truss rod.
Contoured neck plates allow for much more comfortable upper fret access. Rather than the palm of your hand meeting the hard corner of a standard 4 bolt design, it’s greeted instead with a nice, rounded off contour. Once you try this upgrade, you’ll never go back.
Made of chrome plated steel. 2 mm thick, 1.4 oz (42 g).
Four #8 Phillips oval head screws are included. Choose 1-3/4” length if you are using it with a standard Fender body thickness (1-3/4” thick). Choose 1-1/2” length if you are using it with an Offkilter guitar, or a thinner bodied guitar).
